Theatre Posse

The Theatre Posse is the co-operation forum for all the member companies who belong to the Theatre Centre. Currently, the Theatre Posse has two outlets: the Teatterijoukko magazine and this website. The purpose of both services is the same: to make it easier for you to search the repertoires of our theatres and to find out about what other services they have to offer.

The members of the Theatre Posse are theatre companies, whose common features are strong and characteristic productions, passion for their work, the aim to be close to the spectator and to speak for those whose voice is not usually heard.

According to researched views of members of the public, the Theatre Posse produces performances that:
*touch by being humane
*have an edge to them and charm with their realism
*surprise one by being so inventive
*take a stand and have the courage to be anarchist
*invoke new thoughts
*make one feel good
*make one laugh and are entertaining
*keep in mind the spectator's needs
*respect new, Finnish texts
*offer experiences and open up whole new worlds for spectators, also for children

*make one see oneself in a different way

*open one's soul and feed it, as well as

*offer a peaceful break from one's own life.

You are also welcome to read the Teatterijoukko repertoire magazine The magazine is found in the member theatres, or you can order a bundle of it (approx 30 magazines) to your workplace by sending an e-mail to aineisto.teatterijoukko (at) gmail.com.
